April 2011 marks the acceptance date of our brand new Eurocopter AS355NP. This is the latest version of the successful Ecureuil family, powered with two Turbomeca Arrius 1A1 engines. Compared to the AS355 N and it’s Arrius 1A engine, the Arrius 1A1 offers new, one engine inoperative ratings. An upgraded main gear box derived from the AS350 B3 allows a 200kg higher maximum take off weight at sea level in external load configuration.
Certified “Category A Equivalent” and compliant with stringent operational requirements, the AS355 NP will be a valuable addition to our fleet. With two engines, this aircraft has the ability to fly on one engine in the event of an emergency.
Located at the Whitehorse International Airport, TRK gets the majority of it’s hours flying for the Yukon Territory Government Forestry Service.
TRK Aviation recently completed an overhaul on a Eurcopter AS350 BA. The aircraft has been modified with updated avionics and painted with our corporate paint scheme.

TRK Helicopters took delivery of a modified Eurocopter AS350 B2 with a Honeywell LTS-101 700D-2 engine. This engine configuration has the advantage of providing identical performance to the Arriel 1D1 engine found in normal AS350 B2’s, while consuming 5% less fuel. This engine performs extremely well at high altitudes, hot temperatures, and has excellent lifting capabilities.

TRK Aviation recently completed an overhaul on a Bell 206 BIII Jet Ranger. Our qualified engineers have left no detail untouched. The Jet Ranger was originally introduced in the 60’s and has proved to be a safe and reliable aircraft that continues to be used throughout the world to this day.
